Why ₹2,101 and not ₹2,100? Many families add the one rupee so the blessing never ends at zero. Phere records that rupee too.

Questions.
What is a shagun register?
A record of the gifts a family receives at a wedding: who gave, how much, and at which function. Families keep it so they know what to give when it is the other family’s turn.
Why do shagun amounts end in 1?
₹1,101 instead of ₹1,100: many families add one rupee so the blessing never ends at zero, and an odd amount is thought lucky. Phere records the exact amount.
Can both families keep one register?
Yes. Each entry is marked as the bride’s side, the groom’s side or both. Everyone you invite sees the same register, and you choose who can add entries.
Can I record gifts that are not cash?
Yes. Describe the gift, like a saree or a silver tray, add what it is worth and a photo.
Can I export the register?
Yes. Download the shagun report as a PDF or a spreadsheet, or share a summary on WhatsApp.
Can Phere track money lent and borrowed too?
Yes. Shagun is gifts the family receives. Money owed is money that has to change hands again: a loan from a relative, a deposit to get back, a balance owed to a vendor.
Does Phere handle the money?
No. Phere only keeps the record. Envelopes and UPI transfers stay exactly where they are.
