What is Phere and how does it help with wedding planning?
Phere is a calm, cloud-backed finance and coordination workspace built specifically for Indian weddings. It replaces messy WhatsApp groups and scattered spreadsheets with dedicated modules for Kharcha (expenses), Shagun (cash gifts), Lena-Dena (reciprocal gifts), Saman (shopping), E-invites, and guest RSVPs.
Using Phere.
Do wedding guests need to download an app or log in to RSVP?
No. Guests receive a clean, web-based digital invitation link (shareable via WhatsApp). They can view the event details and submit their RSVP headcount directly in their browser without downloading an app or creating an account.
How does the AI OCR bill scanner work?
You can upload a photo of a vendor bill or paste handwritten receipt text. Phere AI extracts the vendor name, total amount, payment date, line items, and category, presenting a draft for your quick review before saving it to the ledger.
Can we export reports for family settlement meetings?
Yes! You can generate clean, formatted PDF reports or download full CSV spreadsheets at any time for vendor settlements, family reviews, or offline archiving.
Can I install Phere on my phone like an app?
Yes. Phere is built as an installable Progressive Web App (PWA). You can add it to your iOS or Android home screen for instant, full-screen access during busy wedding events.

How do family members collaborate on the budget?
The wedding owner can invite key decision-makers (parents, siblings, co-planners) via email. Invited family members sign in securely and share access to the live budget, expense entries, vendor advance records, and shopping status.

How does Phere pricing work? Are there recurring subscriptions?
Phere uses a simple One-Time Wedding Pass model (Rs 399 for 6 months, Rs 699 for 12 months). There are no auto-renewing subscriptions or hidden fees. All accounts start with a free 14-day trial without entering credit card details.
Do invited family members need to buy a separate pass?
No. When the wedding creator purchases a Wedding Pass, all invited family members join that wedding workspace for free.
What happens after the pass expires?
Your wedding data remains stored safely in your account. You can export all records as PDF or CSV spreadsheets anytime, even after the pass period ends.
Can I start for free without paying?
Yes! Every account starts with a 14-day free trial containing all features. No credit card details are required.

Is our family’s financial data safe and private?
Yes. Your wedding records are encrypted and protected by Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS). We never sell your data, show third-party ads, or share your financial figures with external vendor networks.
